GRAEME WHITE TOPS THE TABLE IN THE PCA MVP RANKINGS

What a season it has been for Northamptonshire slow left-armer Graeme White, as he finishes in pole position at the top of the Professional Cricketers’ Association Most Valuable Player Rankings for the Royal London One Day Cup.

White’s haul of points includes an exceptional 119.47 for bowling, though his stand out performance came against Lancashire on the 8th June, where he took a career-best six for 37 – the sixth best List A figures in Northamptonshire’s history.

White has also been named the highest-ranked spinner in the country in the competition, helping to secure his place in the new North v South three-match series which will be played in the United Arab Emirates next March. He will travel to the UAE with fellow teammate Ben Duckett, along with England internationals Tim Bresnan, Harry Gurney and Liam Dawson who earned selection as the top four England-qualified players in each region in this season’s PCAs Most Valuable Player Rankings.

Graeme spoke of his delight this afternoon, "It's great feeling to have got the top spot, it's a fantastic achievement and a measure of consistency which I think is key. It's always nice to be able to show people what I can do and get some reward from it, I'm very proud to have my name up there."
