THE CLUB ANNOUNCE ITS CHOSEN CHARITY FOR 2017

We are delighted to be working with The Nigel Wagstaff Charity for the 2017 season. They are hoping to raise £37,000 so we will be looking forward helping them reach this target with various events held at The County Ground over the next year.

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE V GLOUCESTERSHIRE - DAY 4

Ben Sanderson took a career-best 8 for 73 as Northamptonshire ended their 2016 season with a 114-run win over Gloucestershire at Wantage Road. Needing to bat out the final day with eight-wickets in hand, George Hankins made a maiden first-class century but Sanderson saw Northants to a fourth win in their final six games taking four wickets with the second new ball.

COUNTY COMPLETE KENT VICTORY

Northamptonshire duly completed a third Specsavers Championship victory of the season as they hammed Kent by ten wickets at Beckenham with a full day to spare.

GLAMORGAN V NORTHAMPTONSHIRE - DAY 4

A career-best performance by Ben Sanderson - who took 7 for 22 from 13 overs on a pitch of variable bounce - enabled Northamptonshire to win their first Specsavers Championship game of the season as Glamorgan were bundled out for just 95 in 37.4 overs at the St. Helen's ground in Swansea.

BEN AND ADAM IN FORM - TWICE!

Ben Duckett and Adam Rossington took full advantage of two innings apiece as Northamptonshire tackled Nottinghamshire in a two-day practice match in Barbados. Duckett (23 and 34 not out) and Rossington (38 and 34 not out) boosted the County to 225 all out on the opening day.

A Barbados Select XI proved too strong for Northamptonshire in Wednesday's 50-over contest at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown.
