Northamptonshire’s favourite Dutchman – Barry has a long involvement with the club dating back to 2004. He had spent the previous season as Leicestershire’s first-team physiotherapist but then made the move to Wantage Road and remains a vital and popular member of the club’s support staff – currently with the title of Sports Science and Sports Medicine Lead, co-ordinating a multidisciplinary team with the task of keeping the players on the park. As well as his role with NCCC he has also worked with Northampton Saints rugby club and with the England Under-19s squad.
