Northamptonshire County Cricket Club will begin the challenge for promotion from Division 2 of the Specsavers County Championship against Middlesex at Lords on Friday 13 April.

Northamptonshire will then face Warwickshire (Friday 20 April) and Durham (Friday 27 April) at home before welcoming Pakistan to Wantage Road on Friday 4 May for a four day match before their two Tests against England.

Northamptonshire then face Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Friday 11 May before a window for Royal London One-Day Cup group games.

Northamptonshire will then host Gloucestershire at home on Wednesday 20 June before making the trip to Glamorgan on Monday 25 June.

The Royal London One Day Cup campaign starts at Home against Leicestershire Foxes on Thursday 17 May, with subsequent home fixtures in the North Group against Lancashire Lightning (Wednesday 23 May), Durham Jets (Sunday 27 May) and Derbyshire Falcons (Friday 1 June).
