Northamptonshire Player Number: N/A

Max, a talented top-order batsman, has joined Northamptonshire on loan from Middlesex until the end of June – and is no stranger to Wantage Road, having scored a century there for England Under-19s against Sri Lanka last season. He was appointed captain for this winter’s U19 four-day games in India.  Cambridgeshire-born, he was spotted by County head coach David Ripley as a 13-year-old, but joined the Middlesex Academy and subsequently earned a four-year contract at Lord’s. He will be looking to play as much first-team cricket as possible with Northamptonshire to further his development.
