England's Under-19s relished a break from their one-day series against India by throwing themselves into a coaching day at the Hindu Gymkhana Club in Mumbai.

"Tours like this provide the lads with memorable experiences on and off the field, and we always try to remind them of that," said Mo Bobat, the ECB's player identification lead and manager of the Young Lions programme.

"They were given responsibility for organising the day. They raised money at home before we left, which paid for the ground hire, equipment, food, and T-shirts for the children - and we'll also be making donations to local charities."

England are aiming to end a three-match losing run when the one-day series finishes in Mumbai on Wednesday, before the teams head for Nagpur for two four-day matches.
