Northamptonshire County Cricket Club was founded in 1878 and became a First Class County in 1905. In our 135 year history we have been fortunate enough to have seen many of the all-time greats of the game play cricket for Northamptonshire at the County Ground, and we continue to strive to bring a dynamic, professional and entertaining brand of cricket to those of all ages.

This Customer Charter outlines our principal commitments and policies.

Northants Cricket will continue to review key policies to help ensure the club provides an excellent all-round customer experience and service. 

MISSION: To be the best ‘non-Test Match’ County Cricket Club in the Country.’

CORE OBJECTIVE: To provide a cost-effective platform to drive and maintain the development of successful cricket at all levels in the County

SUPPLEMENTAL OBJECTIVES/TARGETS: To satisfy all ECB requirements Playing standards, ground & pitch standards; Academy; County Board


  • Improve the customer experience of Northants Cricket, on and off the field of play.

Office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. During the off season and non-matchdays, the reception and ticket office will be based at the Wantage Road end of the County Ground, in the club offices.

We will endeavour to respond to any letter or email within 7-10 working days of receipt of such communication. Please note that during the cricket season, these timelines may be extended due to the nature of the business. We will endeavour to answer all queries as fully and honestly as possible.
